My husband loves Blueberry Buckle dessert and I have had this recipe for years. One year I thought, what if I just made a cake instead of putting the batter in muffin tins. This recipe makes one 8 by 8 inch cake. If you want a 9 by 13 inch cake, double this recipe. Mix ingredients and then spread in baking pan. (Fold in blueberries after you mix ingredients so they don't break apart) The batter will be a bit thick as this is a denser cake. Make the topping in a separate bowl and sprinkle on top of batter. For a 9 by 13 cake bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes.
Yesterday we went blueberry picking at Grandma's Berry Patch in Wanatah, Indiana. The blueberries were huge and delicious.
