Cheap Outdoor Halloween Fixture

I purchased these plastic pumpkin pails at Target for $1.00 each. I cut a slit into the back of the pumpkin down to the bottom and then made a larger opening. (see picture). You may have to adjust yours differently depending on the fixture. I saw this idea on Pinterest of course.

My family likes to put seasoning on their popcorn and I found this recipe that is really good. I ordered the cheddar cheese powder from Amazon and I'll link it below. The shaker shown doesn't work that well and I plan on putting the Seasoning in a mason jar and just spooning it out.

Pumpkin Family

Cut 4 by 4's in various lengths and paint with orange acrylic paint. Drill hole on top and use a stick as a stem. Paint on your desired face and seal if desired.

I have been really enjoying painting these rocks but having difficulty finding them. Does anyone have   a good place to buy large flat rocks? I don't want to take them from the beach.

My largest painted stone so far.

This stone weighs 1 pound 3 ounces and took me 3 hours to paint.  The stone was found along the shore of southern Lake Michigan.

Mosaic Birdbath

To make these birdbaths, purchase a terra cotta pot and larger terra cotta saucer in your choice of size. I painted the pot and outside of the saucer with acrylic paint and sprayed with a sealer. I designed the middle with glass pieces, grouted and then sealed with a grout sealer. Glue the saucer to the pot with E6000 glue.

Miniature Gnome Garden

Its a rainy day and I was repotting some plants. I have been wanting to make a fairy garden and accessories were on sale for 70% off today at Joanns. I took the plants I had around the house and put this together. The only difficulty I had was the house sinking. I placed an old plastic butter container underneath to support it. Fun Project! I am hooked on a You Tube channel called Garden Answer, and she gave me the inspiration.

Today Walgreens had 70% off on their Easter products.. They had the most adorable set of cappuccino cups, originally $9.99. I got them for $2.99. I have tons of Hens and Chicks in my yard and decide to use them as little planters. I place a stone at the bottom as there isn't any drainage holes.  Filled with cactus soil and watered slightly. I thought they were adorable! I might go back and get dome more. Would be a cute Mothers Day gift.
