State Silouette Sign

I saw this project from a YouTube channel I follow called "Garden Answer." We had some scrap wood around the house so I gave this project a try! I like the way it turned out.

Miniature Gnome Garden

Its a rainy day and I was repotting some plants. I have been wanting to make a fairy garden and accessories were on sale for 70% off today at Joanns. I took the plants I had around the house and put this together. The only difficulty I had was the house sinking. I placed an old plastic butter container underneath to support it. Fun Project! I am hooked on a You Tube channel called Garden Answer, and she gave me the inspiration.

Hens and Chicks

Found this beautiful silver cup at a thrift shop! Perfect for planting some Hens and Chicks!

Hens and Chicks

Today Walgreens had 70% off on their Easter products.. They had the most adorable set of cappuccino cups, originally $9.99. I got them for $2.99. I have tons of Hens and Chicks in my yard and decide to use them as little planters. I place a stone at the bottom as there isn't any drainage holes.  Filled with cactus soil and watered slightly. I thought they were adorable! I might go back and get dome more. Would be a cute Mothers Day gift.

Chalkpaint Project

My latest DIY project. The chipped sections of this table were driving me crazy! Nothing like a fresh coat of Chalkpaint to cover it up. This table is quite old and I wasn't afraid of ruining it.

Swiss Chalet Doll House made by my Grandpa

Back in the middle 1970's, my sister and I each received a dollhouse made by my grandfather. My grandfather was an excellent carpenter. I was so excited. When I was single, I ripped all the decorations off and planned to redecorate in hopes that my children would play with it. Well, that never happened as life goes by so quickly. So now I ask myself, should I keep this or sell to someone who could get use out if it. Or, keep it, redecorate it and give to grandchildren??!
