Hens and Chicks

Today Walgreens had 70% off on their Easter products.. They had the most adorable set of cappuccino cups, originally $9.99. I got them for $2.99. I have tons of Hens and Chicks in my yard and decide to use them as little planters. I place a stone at the bottom as there isn't any drainage holes.  Filled with cactus soil and watered slightly. I thought they were adorable! I might go back and get dome more. Would be a cute Mothers Day gift.

Swiss Chalet Doll House made by my Grandpa

Back in the middle 1970's, my sister and I each received a dollhouse made by my grandfather. My grandfather was an excellent carpenter. I was so excited. When I was single, I ripped all the decorations off and planned to redecorate in hopes that my children would play with it. Well, that never happened as life goes by so quickly. So now I ask myself, should I keep this or sell to someone who could get use out if it. Or, keep it, redecorate it and give to grandchildren??!

Craft Beer Collage Wall Hanging

I just love the artwork on craft beer boxes. I came up with this idea to preserve the artwork in a wall hanging. I cut and measured each rectangle and made it into a collage. I went to a resale shop and found a frame. I love the idea of recycling. Thank you for looking!

Did you find my rock?

I thought it would be nice if I left a couple of rocks on the beach for someone to find.  2 rocks were left on the shore of West Beach at the Indiana National Lakeshore. Comment to let me know if you found it!
