Recycled Halloween Pumpkin Lightbulb ornament
I recently came across my lightbulb pumpkin ornament I made. Take an old lightbulb and clean all of the dust off of it. I used acrylic paint and a small flat edged brush to paint on the orange color and small detail brush for eyes, nose and mouth. I brushed on a water based sealer at the end and tied with raffia.

Cake Walk Cake
Looking for a nice design? This was a big hit at the cake walk at my girls school. It was taken right away! All I did was bake a chocolate cake from a box mix and frosted it with canned frosting. I decorated it with M and M's, made into flowers. I happened to have a plate to match too. Chocolate overload!

Hidden Germs....water dispenser in refrigerator
I recently saw a show on TV showing where germs are hiding in your house. One of them was the water dispenser on the refrigerator. Take a q-tip and stick it inside the tube where the water comes out. I didn't have a camera at the time but mine was disgusting, kind of makes me not want to drink water out of it!

Wine bottle pumpkins
I got this idea from Pinterest a few weeks ago and lo and behold I have many empty wine bottles! My wine cutting idea didn't quite pan out. Spray paint wine bottles orange, add a black face.

Fun Activity for Kids! Bingo Marker Paintings
Tonight I was cleaning out my craft area and came across these bingo markers. About 12 years ago I used to work as a Recreation Therapist and was always trying to come up with activities for my patients. This is an activity was so much fun. My kids loved to do it...make paintings with Bingo Markers. They love making dots and it isn't very messy. The Bingo markers can be purchased anywhere; I have seen them at Walmart, and the Dollar Tree. Great activity for all ages!
Here is a link for printables for the bingo markers

Hand knit hats for children
These are a few hats I have knitted this past year. I enjoy knitting as it is so relaxing. If you have a request for certain colors, I will make it for you. The strawberry hat will probably fit a 3 to 4 year old. The magenta hat with white flower-a newborn to 6 months. The hot pink with cream flower-2 to 3 year old.
