Review of Drain Wig hair catcher for shower

I tend to lose a lot of my hair and was looking for a device to catch in the shower. I went to Bed Bath and Beyond and found this Drain Wig, I remember seeing it on Shark Tank. It definitely works! In 1 weeks time, this is what came out of the drain. Sorry for the gross picture! #DrainWig

IKEA Gallery Shelf for bathroom storage!

I was running out of space in my medicine cabinet for all of the little lotions, perfumes, and hair care bottles so I purchased this gallery wall shelf from IKEA. I love it and works perfectly for storage! 

Jenga Phone, Ipad Stand

I’ve been cleaning out and purging my craft supplies and I came across these Jenga pieces that I had been using to make keychains. I thought, what if I glued them together and made an phone or IPad stand. I got glued mine and it seems very sturdy however you could use wood glue as well. I think I may paint it black in the future. 

Yarn stitches slipping off of your knitting needles? This is the best tip!

I have several  yarn projects going on the same time and keep them in the same bag. The pink rubber point projectors, fall off sometimes if they aren’t the correct size and stitches fall off of the needle. I came up with an idea after not wanting to spend $12 on metal protectors. Take a silicone, rubber drinking straw and try slipping both needles inside. Cut a section to your desired shape. I cut mine about 2 inches. Both needles fit snuggly inside. With larger needles, you may need one section per needle. Just don’t push in too far or it will be difficult getting them out.

Update: March 1, 2019 The grout still looks great! I have washed my floors and none of it has come off. I am very happy and want to purchase more to do my upstairs bathroom.

I have tried everything to clean the grout in my entryway. I’ve purchased cleaners, home made solutions and nothing worked.  I saw this grout paint on Amazon and it worked wonderfully. I purchased the cream color with a wider tip. At times when I painted , the paint would go onto the tile. I had a sponge nearby to wipe clean. It looks great, and I will update in a month to let you know how it is doing.i was not paid to do this review!

Mailbox for storing garden tools

My Mom gave me this old mailbox that she used to store her garden tools. We put it on a post and placed it near our garden so that the tools are within reach and protected. I though my mom had a great idea for storage and thought I’d share this idea.
